Employee appreciation day is typically celebrated on the first Friday in March, but don’t get discouraged if you didn’t get a chance to celebrate your employees. Appreciating your employees shouldn't come once a year. Here are some great ideas other companies have implemented to appreciate their workforces.

- Globoforce – The CEO of Globoforce, Eric Mosley, says Employee Appreciation Day should be a reminder of how companies should treat their employees all year long. Things as simple as bringing in breakfast or hosting an employee rewards ceremony can go a long way to boost energy and increase happier moods.
- LaSalle Network – “We do random acts of appreciation throughout the year, like taking the whole company out for ice cream midday or bringing in McFlurrys for everyone in the office….we have breakfast catered every Friday, rebirthdays (celebrations of hire dates), all ladies receive flowers on Valentine’s Day, parents receive letters on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, and so much more…plus, the whole company is going to Miami for an all-expenses-paid trip for hitting a sales goal.”
