-end bonuses, some employers use smaller rewards earlier in the holiday season to get employees energized before the holiday break. Here are 3 key stats from Glassdoor's Employee Appreciation Survey:
- 46% of employees feel appreciated when they are given unexpected treats and rewards, like gift cards to retailers like Burlington Coat Factory, The Limited and The Children's Place
- 40% of employees feel appreciated when they are included in company decision making
- 37% of employees feel appreciated when their employer presents them with long term career opportunities
